I was raised by actor/teacher/improvisers in Portland Oregon, USA. I spent a good portion of my youth in their classrooms, greenrooms and in the wings during their performances. What I experienced as a child inspired a lifetime rich in theater and a drive to encourage and inspire other actors and to create exceptional works of art.

From the beggining |
Where we are now |
I played my first paid improv gig at 9 years old alongside adult performers. My father was directing a city-wide THEATRESPORTS championship and when a player got sick, I was tossed in and surprised myself and everyone else with my knack for the craft. By the time I was in my 20's I was teaching and performing regularly, wholly focused on the art of improvisation. As improv became more popular world wide I noticed an unfortunate trend, Improv began to fall further and further away from theater, improvisers weren't first actors anymore and the work suffered. I made it my priority to give improv back to theater, to train not improvisers, but actors who specialize in improvised theater. And, to raise the bar, push the limits of what's possible and return respect and integrity to the craft.
